IPX7
Also called: waterproof rating, IP rating
Definition
An ingress protection rating meaning a device survives being submerged in about one meter of water for 30 minutes. IPX6 and lower are splashproof, not dunkable.
Why it matters when you shop
IPX7 means the bath, shower and a proper scrub are all fine. 'Splashproof' or IPX4 to IPX6 means wipe it, do not submerge it. Even waterproof toys should not be boiled.
Toys that show it off
Each one keeps the rank it earned on its own list.
