We edit lists. Rankings follow the rubric only.

Every ranked list uses the same weighted composite. The weights are public. You can do the math yourself.

Real notes, not five-star fog. We weigh verified-purchase mix, specific praise, and repeating complaints.

You can still get it. Stock that holds, shipping that reaches you, a model that is still sold.

Category fit
It belongs on this list. A hot couples wearable does not sneak into a first-toy guide.
Composite = public demand × 0.35 + review quality × 0.35 + availability × 0.15 + category fit × 0.15. Weights sum to 1.0. Ties break on category fit, then review quality.

- How slick the listing photos look.
- A brand emailing us.
If we later take a free sample, that guide will say so. A sample still does not move the list.
Safety is the floor
