Definition
Polished, medical-grade metal used for weighty plugs, wands and rings. Totally non-porous and almost impossible to break.
Why it matters when you shop
Steel's weight gives firm, steady pressure that silicone cannot. It works with any lube, holds heat or cold, and can be boiled. It is heavy, so start slower than you would with silicone.
